Deep Tissue: Focusing on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints), deep tissue massage therapy is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension, reducing stress hormone levels and boosting mood and relaxation.

CranioSacral: A gentle, non-invasive form of bodywork that addresses the bones of the head, spinal column and sacrum. The goal is to release compression in those areas which alleviates stress and pain. CranioSacral Therapy seeks to restore the natural position of the bones and can decrease stress from chronic injuries, as well as provide relief from migraine headaches, neck/back pain, and temporomandibular joint disorder.

Reiki: The awareness that an unseen energy flows through all living things and directly affects the quality of a person’s health has been part of the wisdom of many cultures since ancient times. When your life energy is low, it is more difficult to deal with stress; you may not sleep well, and you are more susceptible to illness. When your life energy is strong; you feel strong, can more easily deal with stress and are less likely to get sick. Reiki is a technique that increases a person’s supply of life energy.

Thai Body Work: Steeped in ayurvedic/yogic wisdom and healing practices, Thai Body Work was introduced into temples over 2,500 years ago. This therapy combines deep stretching, acupressure techniques and meditative breathing to give full body relaxation with many health benefits. In this “passive yoga” practice, the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures; while palming and thumbing along energy (SEN) lines and pressure points of the body. Together, these actions result in a full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the energetic body. Thai Body Work is done on a floor mat with the client fully clothed in comfortable yoga style clothing to allow for movement and flexibility. No oils or lotions are used.
